The easy solution is freedom. I'll always assume that the kids who troon out come from overwhelmingly strict parents who didn't let them hangout with other kids who smoked or drank so they found the internet.
Yeah well, you're wrong. Even the kids with parents who understand that boundaries can't be too strict still lose their kids to troon culture. It's spreading in schools and if it hits one of the peers in their friend circles, it's gonna be troon city as they all switch to fit in with each other.
Rapid onset gender dysphoria is becoming quite the issue, especially if some parents use it as a trophy, dragging in the kids of other parents in the process.
Transgenderism is a rapidly spreading social contagion.
Lack of strictness or strictness in raising a child doesn't make much of a difference.
The problem is the incentivization of gender ideology as well as the fetishization of it.
Read Abigail Shrier's book Irreversible Damage where she focuses on the increase of F to Ms and the reasons behind why it is happening.
So why do kids fall for the incentivization? Strictness increases all sorts of harmful behavior because the kids don't have a support structure or healthy coping mechanisms.
You are missing the point.
Social contagion is the primary reason for this rapid increase in gender identity madness.
Strictness or leniency won't make a big difference when it is academia, the media and corporations pushing this throughout society.
You seem to want to blame this whole phenomenon on strict parenting but sadly that is not the case.
You could raise your kids very leniently and they still would be at risk to turn into trannies.
We need to change the current environmental factors to actually make a dent against this insanity.
Individual parenting is not the silver bullet to this calamity.
No, because people aren't blank slates. The primary reason is strict parenting for the same reason the sheltered kid turns into an addict in university when they're exposed to drugs and alcohol. The reason you see it advancing is because kid's only socialization is school, and the internet.
Simply put, it's a symptom but not a cause.
The only time it's from strictness is when it's elitist/leftist/feminist parents pushing their preferred stereotypical gender behaviors onto the child who might be autistic or just not socially developed in that way, a girl who's a tomboy, or a boy who they casually expose to misandry. Sometimes they are homophobes who can't accept their kid is gay but trans is trendy and acceptable. It has nothing to do with smoking or drinking. Almost all kids are using the Internet. "So they found the Internet" sounds like a phrase from 20 years ago. :)
