Chinese communists aren't any more willing to accept AI telling them things they don't want to hear than our own commies. Their idealogical blind spots might be different but they have a similar effect.

China literally uses an AI that looks at peoples faces and goes "yup, that one is a criminal" (basically, detecting physiognomy) , and they take this AI seriously as a crime consultant.

If one party's blind spots are smaller or fewer, then the logic of "well, they have blind spots too" isn't solid. China's got a glaring Han blind spot, but it is a sole, singular spot. Tell them communism doesn't work, and the ruling class will say "no duh, that's why we don't use it, we're the world's production marketplace. We just say communism to keep the slave caste in line."

It depends what the AI is being used for. The problem with a system like China's (something the wokists are replicating here) is that you can't go to your superiors with data that proves them wrong because they'll do very bad things to you if you do. China may well have smaller or fewer blind spots but being unable to challenge something people have a stake in isn't healthy for scientific development. That's a big reason science in the West is going to shit.
