The EU is nowadays a mere indigenous "local chief" that manages Europe in the name of the US.

Because yeah, Europe destroying itself is totally in the interest of the U.S. Losing trading partners is always a good thing.

Also ignore the fact that the U.S. is in the process of destroying itself in the exact same manner as the EU.
