I'd say they're being smart by not provoking the admins and trying to appeal to as broad a coalition of people against lockdowns as possible.
Every left-winger will instantly shut down if he has even a whiff of "blaming the left" or "blaming the Democrats".
But why? That's dishonest, homie. I don't think anyone can reasonably dispute that leftists were the genesis of lockdown measures.
Do you want to vent, do you want a pat on your shoulder for your supposed "honesty", or do you want a greater chance of actually achieving something?
I don't think we can achieve anything meaningful if we "play nice" -- aka lie -- over apportioning blame with respect to lockdown restrictions. Building any kind of partnerships on a series of deliberately false pretenses is never going to result in "achieving something". The whole idea is compromised from the start.
That 'apportioning blame' need not be done by the moderators of that sub though.
