I like food and like trying new food, so I'm also open to trying out vegan food.
Some vegan bread spreads/dips are good (hey salsa is vegan), and I could see myself occasionally buying them and use them.
I'm also even not against eating insects. I've eaten grilled/roasted insects in Asia and they were okay/good. I mean shrimp/crab are basically insects of the sea.
But for everything that uses any meat-substitute substance (be it soy or insect protein)... it's horrible. Well everything I tried.
The consistency is wrong. The taste is wrong. Everything is just chemical disgusting shit.
The last experiment were some pea-protein based sausages. I ate one and even with mustard/sriracha it was horrible.
I wanted to try the other ones (using a different method of cooking) but I couldn't get myself to do it (for over a week). So I threw them away.

Alternate meat is disgusting shit.
