Not that much different from what Taro Aso said in 2013. There is a stereotype of Asians respecting their elders, but Japanese culture strongly prioritizes the youth above the elderly. (which makes sense for many reasons)
You can both respect the eldery and prioritize young at the same time.
It's hilarious to me, the lengths women and their allies will go to avoid confronting why birth rates are low.
