Maybe, but it's a distinction without a difference. His whims, if followed, would still lead to the human race collectively suiciding itself.
I know, the point isn't to come to agreement with him. Its to make him work out or admit to how completely unrealistic or genocidal his path is. Rather than dance around calling shit out without a solution.
