I would never go, but I saw a lot of people talking about how this was strange.
Why this strange specifically? Isn't there a lot of crazy vaccine/masking stuff going on in the US because they made it their partisan virtue-signal?
Apparently Coachella and things like that didn't have those rules.

There's a lot of ideological variation within California even just within a handful of miles apart. It also comes down to the organizers.
Coachella is attended by people who want to be around other people, and also ran by the same people who run Stagecoach (country music).
Comic-Con is attended by cucks and people trying to squeeze money from cucks.
Its actually been phased out (silently of course to save face) by most places. The super elite stuff that gets international coverage still goes, but almost everything else besides hospitals gave up.
