Exactly. The right needs to stop assuming that the left is stupid just because their ideas are stupid. Leftists are evil and don't care that their ideas are stupid.
The establishment is smart because they appeal to the millions of stupid people. Stupid people far outnumber anyone who's paying attention.
Their ideas are stupid but their tactics, manipulations, propaganda etc. are quite smart and effective.
I never said that the left is stupid, just that their ideas are stupid. The right keeps losing due to stubbornness. Stuff like "we can't criticize corporations because of free market principles!" The right needs to recalibrate, drop losing strategies, and stop supporting old allies that have turned against them. But conservatives, by their very nature, are very resistant to change.
Theres a herd of buffalo. They're stampeding toward a cliff. You're the buffalo stuck in the middle of the pack. Let's see you convince the others to stop.
Now imagine there's a human behind the herd intentionally driving them to that cliff, catching the stragglers.
Smart doesn't always win just because smart.
"A person is smart, people are dumb, panicked creatures."
people always forget the "but don't rule out malice" part of that one saying
If it’s a one off event, we can attribute it to stupidity. If it’s been going on for decades or part of a larger plan then it’s malice.
