I understand this idea - but TikTok is a product of the community that inhabits it.

I've never used it myself, but I'd guess this is because TikTok works like YouTube does/used to.
It maximizes engagement and user retention by placing everyone in an echo chamber where they only see things they would agree with.
So, if I was there, I'd see nothing but anti-feminism. If a feminist was there, she'd see her kill all men fantasies.
I don't believe it's a nefarious plot, it's just how social media works.
