assuming the technology to do that actually exists, you think rothschild can't also afford it? i mean why would musk be able to redirect asteroids? because he's smart and invents all his space companies tech himself? no.
It takes more than money to do what SpaceX is doing. I know progressives try to tell us everyone is a "blank slate" and we are interchangeable. We are not. Money isn't everything. a collection of motivated, highly-intelligent people is worth more than all the money in the world.
Exhibit A: Blue Origin. Founded 21 years ago.* Still hasn't put a rocket into orbit.
