This is exactly why I don't mind the Brexit outcome. Was it "less beneficial" sure. But it was the ripping off of the band aid that was needed. Now all the other eu countries have seen that the wound hasn't healed and there are no plans to do so.
The big "four" that remain have finally seen all of the leeches circling .
Le Pen had no chance to win even in a fair election. Except for the Zemmour fans, who aren't enough to make up the difference, there's nobody who'd vote for her in the second round who didn't already vote for her in the first round. She is completely demonized. Everyone else will show up to vote against her. Even people who don't like Macron either still hate him less than her.
Which begs the question, why do they think this is necessary?
I think they're just doing it to show that they can. "Yes, we will meddle with your elections, even though we don't even need to, and you can't do a thing about it, it's 'our' democracy now, nyah nyah."
Establishes a precedent. This time people will not care to much because Le Pen has little to no chance of winning. Next time it will matter and will just be considered business as usual.
Do the French care about such an allegation? Or more importantly, would this deter turnout of Le Pen voters or encourage Macron voters? In America, this type of drama is so weak it wouldn't significantly impact voters. It might even motivate the party under attack, since it makes their explicit enemy look scared.
France and Germany are keeping the corrupt Brussels EU afloat with their money. Which is why there is no way in hell they're going to let her win.

No, they can't have her, she's not a globalist pet, only those can become président en France.
