I never saw it.
I don't watch that many movies, I just remember distinctly the year when 10 or so a year became one or two maximum. It was 2018. The year of #MeToo.
Last movie I bought on disk was Ford vs Ferrari after all the feminist critics panned it. It was alright, not the best thing I've ever seen but watchable.
It shows.
I don't go out of my way to see things for political reasons.
I think I said this before, but I was never like this before women's hate took over my home country. I was barely political at all. I was a normie Conservative from a solid Conservative constituency, voted for David Cameron and considered him a good leader.
Now I feel like politics kind of rules my life a little. I lost friends over boycotting things we used to do together. I became a little bit depressed at the state of the world. Moving helped me stay sane, but I feel irreparably changed.
I finally stopped playing Fortnite over their Women's Day event, which was one of the last things I still did with my old friends from my home country.
One day I'll just be sitting in a near empty house with my phone in my hand and a stock ticker on my monitor because those are the last things I didn't let go of.
I don't see things for political reasons.
But I do have a habit of trying to have a clue about what I'm talking about. I know for a personal fact that leftist narratives took over the film industry before either of us was even born.
So you're telling me you can't watch a movie from the 2000s without getting angry at the politics?
I'm a big car guy and I'd give it a 6 or a 7. Still, given most movies make me turn them off after 10 minutes, that's an achievement.
Maybe I'm just too harsh on things now.
