Even if you have skilled people, which I guess this guy is at least, of all these randoms going there to "help" is there even enough organization to make a difference? It's not a video game and a bunch of one man armies isn't going to win. They'd need leadership and strategy to make a difference.
Foreign Secretary Liz Truss appeared to encourage Britons saying she would 'absolutely support' those who wished to sign up to fight as part of the Ukrainian armed forces.
Giving a speech in Estonia, Mr Johnson said: 'I can understand why people feel as they do but we have laws in our country about international conflicts and how they should be conducted.' Asked if, in the wake of Ms Truss's comments, that the Government was encouraging Britons to fight, he replied: 'The UK is not actively doing any such thing.'
Despite the warning, a military source has said that 150 of former paratroopers were on their way to Poland.
Shane, 34, a former sniper with the Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment, said Ms Truss' comments on Sunday were 'the green light'
So "accidentally" threatening NATO involvement and escalating nuclear tensions, against her superior's wishes. Now "accidentally" green lighting Britons to go and act as soldiers of fortune against a foreign nation, against her superiors wishes.

i spend a fuckload of time finding relevant news for kia. including the gaming stuff. im dropping that til you reinstate this one. that week should have had 10 posts a day from everyone. and without these posts you won't have anything to moderate
I'm confused. Are you saying you want me to reinstate this one post. Or do you want me to just drop the whole rule?
Dropping the whole rule seems like a very bad idea, as we've seen the consequences of not limiting posts. Even at 10 posts per day, this could create a huge problem with even 3 people putting 30 posts up by themselves and absolutely spamming the feed.
Separately, I can't really tolerate a demand to remove a whole rule from a single user. That would give you an enormous and disproportionate amount of power over the userbase.

I assume a sniper is a lot safer then a foot soldier. So he has that going for him. He could make a difference, who knows, every war has heroes.
