I don't like how the headline brings up Russia when the story is about "gender" identity training. Maybe it's relevant in that you would think ostensibly "non-essential" training would be put on hold when an international incident like the recent Ukraine war, but it feels really clickbait-ey.
I agree with this sentiment in general but I don't think it's a big deal in this case. The usual suspects are whipping up war hysteria wrt Russia so anything that affects our ability to win such a war is relevant. An officer class more concerned about DIE than combat readiness hampers our ability to win wars and the media should be pointing that out. The fact that the MSM refuses to do so is treasonous.
