None of this is good. Ukraine’s people largely want no part of this. But their blood is on America’s hands. I fucking live here, and I love what this country is supposed to be, but we are not the fucking good guys anymore. We haven’t been the good guys for half a century or more. We have “regime changed” more nations than anyone in history. All of those were bloody revolutions, artificially set in motion and sponsored by my government.
