I thought they were just Ukranian patriots who are LARP'ing as Nazis.

But looks like they are just insane, because this is the only way to prevent further damage.

Or maybe they realize that any peace with Russia will be the end of Azov, but this will make it easier as Ukraine and Russia can agree that Azov has to go.
