"That pendulum is gonna swing back so fuckin hard" has basically become the right's "those bullies are totes going to regret that when I'm their boss."
I think "we" are caught up in not knowing what to do. People don't want their livelihoods (jobs, money, homestead, respect from peers) taken away. But "we" also know that the rot will destroy everything else in the long run. So how do "we" save it?
What is realistic? What will be successful? How can we maintain success?
Its because the right has not even begun to recruit foot soldiers in any meaningful way. When the left recruits ANTIFA members, they're all unemployed losers with criminal records. They have nothing to lose so it doesn't matter when they're arrested again or even go to prison for a while. The political right needs to take all of the felons in their midst and recruit them to be the molotov throwers, because who the hell cares if an ex con does another few more up river. The fatal flaw with the proud boys is that they recruited people with something to lose. So the moment some of them went down, the rest shit their pants and went home.
Many of us keep thinking that this latest government overreach/scandal will finally make people wake up to what's going on. I mean, it's obvious to anyone paying attention, but most people aren't paying attention and have absolutely no idea of the truth due to having complete trust that the Legacy Media are telling them the truth, the absolute and entire truth, and nothing but the truth.
What has inspired me about that peaceful Ottawa protest was how effective it was in waking up a section of the brainwashed normies. Quite a few who saw that the media coverage didn't align with the live-streams of the protest ended up going down there themselves to see and were quite shocked that the Legacy Media had lied to them.
You could see it in some of the interviews in the live-streams. People saying they decided to come see for themselves and were amazed at how peaceful and loving it all was.
Yes, those protesters will be hounded for months to come over this protest, but it is waking up people bit by bit and people are deciding they need to get involved and protest as well to do something about all of this.
Trudeau could have just let the Ottawa protest go on without mainstream coverage but he tried to fight them and he'll get his short term victory, but I think this is the moment where he lost the war.
Already other protests are popping up over Canada. If the people keep this momentum then their victory is assured.
That's a big "if", though. I've lost a lot of faith in people over the last couple of years, but I still hold out hope.

Thinking for 1 minute reveals there is no way that going in with violent intent would win. Zero. It would be a huge loss. This type of mindset assumes either
Overwhelming military superiority of Canadians against Occupation Goverment -- Obviously untrue
That public opinion doesn't matter -- Mostly untrue
Point 2 can be true, public opinion doesn't matter if you have overwhelming military force. But only a retard would look at real life and think they can muster overwhelming military force against an occupation government with a standing army & international allies.
Going in guns blazing is a strategy for desperate children that feel backed into a corner and think throwing one solid punch will KO their opponent. That isn't going to happen.
But victory CAN happen if public sees that their governments rule only through open displays of force. That opens the door to other strategies.

Name checks out, unfortunately.
