They started doing whatever they could to join in 2001. But it's the fault of a specific woman who wasn't notable at all back then. It's almost like they would be trying to negotiate with whomever is present. But I guess those time travelling Unkrainian vagina demons KNEW.

So, the woman telling them what to do isn't to blame because they tried to join before and got rejected. Makes perfect sense.
1, They could refuse.
2, You would still blame a woman if it was a man telling them what to do, because you always do that.
I'm not a fan of Ukraine, partially because I live right next to Ukraine, my country shares a border with them and has a territory that belonged to us before WW1. They treat their Hungarian minority like shit.
But you are doing your typical thing with blaming women for everything when it's a complex historical and political topic.
You claim you see the pieces and shit, but it sounds more and more like paranoid ramblings.
