Juliette Kayyem is a national leader in homeland security, cybersecurity, resiliency and safety. She is currently a Professor in International Security at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government, where she is faculty chair of the Homeland Security and Security and Global Health Projects.

You know your country is fucked if that's a "leader" in homeland security.

I mean, Biden is effectively Obama’s third term, so I would argue his admin isn’t that different…

Just way, way more clown-y, because the Overton window has moved so far into 🤡🌏 it’s essentially no longer a window. It’s the Overton… Hole. Or gap.

Yeah. A lot of the people in government never left. Trump never had the same control of the government apparatus that Obama had, which he had actually by virtue of the Clinton team. Clinton was butthurt that she lost initially but was onboarded and they got what they needed out of the government.
