Well, they never invented governement, electricity, the wheel. In the case of western africans at least, they never invented a written language, much less write anything substantial.
I’ve said that before. I’m sure there are good minority writers but if any minority or female writer is promoted today my first assumption is that it’s yet another lecture about racism or sexism. Walter Moseley is a good black writer. He has a private eye detective series. I’ve read plenty of female writers from decades past who were good. I wouldn’t touch any modern day books though
What I’ve been saying for a while. Before I’d give any author or show/movie a chance. Now if a show is promoting a female or minority or an author gets a lot of praise it’s a good assumption it will be filled with the race nonsense
The list is limited, but Zora Neale Hurston is interesting. She was a Republican, an anti-communist / anti-New Deal. She opposed Brown v Board of Education and felt it would be a negative for black education (probably true...)
Facts.
Still waiting for "First Black To Have Written Anything Interesting". Any takers?
Lotsa fans of Sowell 'round these parts, pilgrim.
Walter Moseley wasn’t bad. I like his private detective series. But any black author that is promoted today will most likely push the usual message
Holy shit… Like ironic racism aside, I literally can’t find one. Actually kinda feel bad

Do octoroons count?

So you're going to denigrate every people that didn't 'invent' (discover) electricity?
How about people who didn't manage to invent the wheel?

Keep in mind this is going to be set before the LOTR films, where there are no black dwarves.
So... they all died between this and the films it seems.

Last sentence sums it up nicely.
