It doesn't have to be China, they are just the last place I'd want to see doing this.

Failure to thrive is the reason this technology will never work. You can't just grow a clump of cells in a fake womb and have done with it. It requires more than just nutrients and oceans sounds for a baby to develop, especially mentally.
