Did marx at one point write about "take over and make mockeries of entertainment"?
It's becoming such a common thing it's on par with "attack cops" in the commie play book. What's the ideological driver of taking over and destroying entertainment franchises?
It's more like redefining terms. They can't actually destroy the originals, but they can destroy your ability to speak about them and reference them.
"I really like RoboCop it's my favorite movie" before meant you liked gritty ultraviolence "bitches, leave" and now means you like weak, woke garbage. You have to say "I like RoboCop (1987)" if you want to be understood.
It becomes extra effort to even reference the icons until you choose not to. When you get deja vu before you might have said "whoa groundhog day" but you won't say "whoa Harold Ramis' Groundhog Day" and that's what they want (and you know new woke version is coming sooner or later).
