Anyone who was around when half-KiA went full retard probably remembers that following their decision to ignore the community vote and the subsequent reaction (and bans), the jannies went largely radio silent for the few following days. Trudeau is in good company.
We might like to think he's just running away (and he is) but I don't doubt for a second that this is a calculated tactic to simply wait the convoy out. It's difficult to maintain momentum for such a movement day after day.
Of course, it could always backfire and make Trudeau look like he's doing nothing as the protest drags out. I can only hope those truckers are well prepared for this last a while.
The tricky part is that the convoy is stuck in Terrace Bay east of Thunder Bay on a shitty stretch of highway with terrible infrastructure.
The TransCanada highway for the hundreds of kms from Thunder Bay to Sault Ste Marie is literally a single lane undivided highway through the wilderness with hardly any detours or population along the route.
Terrace Bay does have a kickass Italian restaurant though.
Oh wait, that fat fuck Doug Ford outlawed that too.

GoFundMe is already at 6mil.
I'll drop another $100 for each week they drag this out.
To be fair, if anyone knows logistics, I'd hope it would be truckers
