Looking at the screen shot of diversity in the article , the company is probably as left as most other companies, you would expect it to be happy to say it is removing the game to save the world from COVID. I'm a bit suspicious and I do not like jumping to conclusions without learning more on the situation.

They could have just thought it was in poor taste recently. Possibly lost someone, and just wanted to be done with it, or were pressured by someone else for similar reasons. I don't agree, but would understand.

Well, Plauge, Inc is still a thing. I mean, it's a game where you get to play the disease.
It's because Plague Inc teaches people that diseases present with no symptoms, infect everyone, and turn into Super-Ebola.
