Anyone who didn't see this coming has either not been paying attention or is an idiot. You have maybe a few more months before all your liquid currency becomes worthless. Put as much money into capital as you reasonably can. Precious metals, land, real estate, whatever. Even just buying new appliances or clothing is a good option. Keep enough cash for an emergency, but come to terms with the fact that you may wake up one day and it won't be enough to buy a loaf of bread.
Real estate is also going to collapse in value, but that's not a problem because while its cash value will crater, its practical value will always remain as long as it's in a livable area.
