I think, unfortunately, in this situation, I wouldn’t feel quite so bad about kicking the dog…
Not killing it, but certainly… I wouldn’t feel so bad about possibly injuring it, if it got the damn thing off me and/or my friends and colleagues…
It has been raised and trained to be as vicious as possible, after all… 😕
The optics, though, if you do?? Yeah, they’re bad. That’s partly why the fucking cops use horses, for “crowd control”, too…
So the media can demonize people who “resist”, or “fight back”… 😑
And why the left uses kids like Greta Thunberg or people who check all the diversity boxes to push their messaging. Gotta make sure that if you fight back it looks as bad as possible.

Shove your fist down its throat and it will choke to death.
That said, certain videos from Russia have convinced me that the best weapon for countering dogs is a shovel.
The guy in this particular video should've shoved his thumb into its eye socket.
