Quebec's identity mostly revolves around telling English Canada to go fuck itself.
But it turns out, beyond the reflex contrarianism wrt language, Quebec fell in line with the globalist narrative just like everyone else if not more so.
I met a couple of Québécois commies (literally) in India, who insisted they “weren’t Canadian”, and ranted about “seizing the means of production”, “Montréal will be the new capital, ra ra ra…”
It was… Bizarre, frankly.
But we were all drunk off cheap shit alcohol, and probably stoned, too, at that point, so… Eh. 🤷🏻♂️

I'm surprised they wouldn't advocate for putting the capital in Quebec City.
Montreal is still very cosmopolitan with sizable Anglophone and Jewish populations.
Quebec City is much smaller, but is much more "pure laine" Francophone if you were trying to establish an ethnostate.
