We have a lot of these types down here, too, unfortunately…
I used to be somewhat of one, too (though I would like to think I was more focussed on corporate and government rickety, rather than policing individual choices), until I learned to actually think for myself, lol…
Then you should be fighting/against this more, then!!
How can you not see that??!
Cut your “we live in a society” crap, and take a moment to realise that THIS WILL NOT WORK, just as Prohibition in the 1920s, in the US AND Canberra, DID NOT WORK…
So even if you think it’s morally “right”, which it damn well isn’t, you STILL have to contend with the fact that it simply won’t work…
Come on man. Come off your moral high horse and realise that people are simply going to make decisions for themselves, healthy or otherwise, and you’re not going to be able to prevent that, so… Give up.
Nah, I don’t agree. That’s nanny state logic, and I fucking despise that attitude.
Let stupid people be stupid. Stop trying to control people’s bad habits. Simple.
I don’t lecture people here for their gun habits, and, while less chemically addictive, of course, guns are FAR more potentially harmful than fucking cigarettes, lol…
So, uhh, nah, mate. Completely disagree. 👎🏼
I used to think the way you do about this. Then I experienced the worst of the nanny state. And I grew up.

I don’t really care to smoke, myself (either substance), however I do not agree with banning smoking, for anyone.
Your body, your choice. Educate them on the consequences, and then let them fucking have it. Simple.
The problem is the addiction. And that people are stupid. Theres a lot of reasone we can't simply live and let live.
Found the Euro.
Nah, they’re an Antipodean, like me…

I'm a kiwi. I have to live here, you don't.
