Once, long ago, we held value in the ties of blood. Once, in the fervor of our God. Once, in our dominance over our enemies.
Now?
Blood ties are evil.
God is dead.
Our enemies live down the street and we must submit to their whims.
Society has already collapsed. We're just machines following along the track until the state of disrepair becomes such we may no longer continue. When we finally wake up from this torpor and see what we've wrought, will we feel sadness? Anger? Hatred? Or will we continue to feel nothing and fade away into death?
To quote from "Kings of the Carnival Creation" by Dimmu Borgir
Glance into the blackness hidden beneath your surface. And enjoy the suffering, sanity drained in disrespect. With such bedevilled faith in good, subsequently trusting evil. Next step for mankind will be the last seasons in sin.
The soul of the nation is dead.
We tread on her corpse every day.
Once, long ago, we held value in the ties of blood. Once, in the fervor of our God. Once, in our dominance over our enemies.
Now?
Blood ties are evil.
God is dead.
Our enemies live down the street and we must submit to their whims.
