They announce a lot of shit that goes absolutely nowhere once the courts get ahold of it.
So far ALL of Xiden's coof edicts have been arrested and handcuffed by the courts. I'm betting that infringement on interstate commerce will go the same way.
As bad as the courts are from time to time, the idea of imposing interstate travel restrictions is just fucking Branch Covidian Fan Fiction at this point.
The default setting for all truckers from that point on would be: whenever a kid makes a pulling motion with his fist, each truck would respond with 4 honks. One for each syllable in "Fuck Joe Biden".
My governor made a similar vaccine mandate in 2020. The cops decided not to enforce it, because absolutely no one cared.
Oh please, the courts can take forever to correct things if they even bother to, and in the meantime the announcement spooks all the private businesses into enacting the edicts on the government's behalf. It's a slow and steady lurch into dystopia and the fact that they feel comfortable even proposing this shit with no fear of being eviscerated in the street should be horrifying in its own right.
While I can appreciate this, again they had the brazenness to pull this shit after getting squashed the first time. They do not fear that there will be consequences for the behavior so they'll simply continue until they get their way or suffer consequences for their behavior.

The text of OSHA emergency workplace mandate was released on a Friday and an injunction by the 5th circuit was in place on Saturday, 24 hours later.
