Yeah, that's what I mean. I don't know if you lurk here if you're banned but it definitely came up before. Dominitus seems to act on reports, and you probably have some dedicated trolls who report all of your posts, kinda like Jester and Azure. I don't think the modding is the core of the problem, I think the retarded rules that were carried over from Reddit are.
As for the Chinese Lung AIDS naming, well, I don't really care, but the clusterfuck is entertaining. We went from the original variant (which should be Alpha, but nobody called it that back then - which is understandable, muh variants are a pretty new phenomenon), then we skipped Beta, went to Gamma, then Gamma Plus, and now we skipped half the fucking alphabet to either Nu or Xi or Omicron. What?
Either way, noone's putting shit in me until we the Ligma variant. I'm also not getting a jab after Ligma, but I'm not doing it before either.
I see posts from here on my front page sometimes, but when I'm banned I mainly just change my homepage to go to c/MGTOW instead.
Why did anyone think "Nu" was a good name? I think Patriots has it best, #MidtermVariant.
Oh, I thought the Nu name was perfect. It reminded me of Nu-metal in the 2000s: corporate, mass-produced, focus group-approved garbage NPCs will get excited about for a while and then noone's going to remember it 3 years later.
Also the press here originally called it the Botswana variant, but that was only for like a day or so, then they switched to Nu, and I'm assuming tomorrow they'll be talking about Omicron.
Edit a day later: Yup, now they're talking about Omicron.
What bands were those? I forget what was considered Nu-metal, I just remember it sucked hard.
How numbers work according to the WHO :
1, 2, 4, 4+, miss a few, fuck you, 15.
I'm not exactly a music nerd, but IIRC Limp Bizkit and early Linkin Park were the most famous, at least around here. I have to admit, I still do like In The End by Linkin Park, but it's only because I have it associated with some good memories. It's the same reason I kinda like brutalist architecture, if's objectively terrible, but I grew up among commieblocks and weird statues and seeing them again makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
Slipknot, limp Bizkit, system of a down are just a few of the shitty nu-metal bands
