An indoor mask mandate is now in effect in Santa Cruz County and it covers private settings like a home. If you are getting together with others who don't live in the same household the county says you should mask up regardless of vaccination status. Businesses are also required to follow the guidelines. You can take off your mask when eating or drinking.
At least they're allowed to meet people from other households. Around here you're only allowed to meet 1 person who's not living in your household if you're unvaxxed.
No restrictions for the vaxxed of course. But remember kids: it's those unclean unvaxxed that aren't allowed to go anywhere that cause the pandemic. It's totally not the vaxxed that surely absolutely under no circumstances transmit the virus, can mingle without restrictions and don't have to get tested at every corner.

That was technically the rule in my state last year. They also "highly recommended" eating outdoors. In the snow and rain and freezing cold.
I had some family over who were kinda pricks about the whole WuFlu restrictions thing, and I briefly considered enforcing the rule.

I'm not allowed to visit anyone if I'm unvaxed. Vaccinated are limited to 2 households w/ a max of 10 people.
Stop. Complying. Please.
Like, FFS, just… Stop complying. 🤷🏻♂️
I never said I was complying.
