IE: A reallllllllllly nasty place:
About the only exciting Zelda news now is whenever Age of Calamity has updates: (which ironically their DLC Wave 2 is more exciting then Wave 1) since now we get to have a certain Yiga Captain! but alas that is 3rd party,. HOWEVER they DIDN'Tt say it's their final DLC so we could see a wave 3 next year.perhaps?
YET Nintendo INSIST on milking Animal Droppings for all it's worth instead of providing updates to their other Zelda titles, including their famed BOTW. Imagine if the LOZ got the Animal Crossing treatment where they keep dropping new stuff!
Switch is for kids.
It started off for young adults actually but shifted when SSB seemed to have came out. I feel the audience greatly shifted at that point. Nintendo could've continued adding content to their better lineup. I'm looking forward to hacking my older Switch model to play BOTW Second Wind when it's polished and Switch Ready. Currently it's neither polished nor Switch ready can only be played on CEMU.
Selling Animal Crossing bullshit to women, obviously.
Stop buying consoles, they're just computers that do less than a normal computers. As long as you exist within that ecosystem it's all a IP-enforced racket focused on fucking the customer and giving them garbage electronics that are useless without the company that produced it and keeping you buying from them.
I have both. Switch is my secondary advice until the Steam Deck comes out next summer or whenever Q2 of 2022 is! I may sell everything but BOTW as I have horses I love to keep I don't want messed up. I had a few horses die already but can later be revived.
Also I mainly use Switch to ride my horses in BOTW when I need to burn stress off.
I have some horses that are hard to find (including Epona) and don't want to mess my save files up so I no longer really care what fu'k Nintendo does just as long as I don't lose my files.
The last few games I've got with store credit and I still have store credit left over but now I may trade them in if Gamestop gets the Steam Deck in to shave off the cost. I hope they let me hook up the Deck to my computer to transfer some of my smaller emulators over and I can install 10 on it just for that. They said Valve won't lock you to their OS.
Yes, you can install windows and turn the steam deck into a pile of shit if you really must.
I'm talking about as a portable emulation machine cause I've heard it can do up to Wii U pretty good meaning Dolphin should be no issue. I'm curious how much resolution you can do with the settings before it struggles (the most expensive model). A lot of people were talking about dumping the Switch and getting that for a portable emulation machine much easier to carry then a laptop which often is a brick.
Sure, and none of that requires ruining it with windows.
I have lots of emulators that don't ruin windows. Obviously you don't know how to computer. I have PCEM even to operate legacy systems on period hardware unlike (cough) Virtual box (cough). Before Sarah had quit they had just gotten PCEM to emulate a Voodoo 3 FX which is VERY helpful on certain titles like Midtown Madness/Monster Truck Madness to render correctly otherwise it would look like crap.
Enjoy sucking off Bill Gates like a brain dead pleb. Every word you type is like nails on a chalkboard.
You've been reported and bloooooooooooooocked! Your comments add nothing to the thread.
A lot of people online are hyped up right now about putting windows in and all the emulator developers are looking forward to seeingwhat the Steam Deck can do. I'm not the only one excited! If the major emulator developers are excited then that's telling you something!
Why bother working on Zelda when you can spend effort on something infinitely easier to extend? Why make games when you can charge $50 for some low-poly low-effort DLC?
The big games companies aren't really about games anymore, they're about extracting as much money from addicts as possible while delivering as little as they can get away with.
So Animal Crossing's is easier to milk then new DLC for Breath of the Wild or Skyward Sword expanding more flying, adding a colosseum, etc? I can think of a number of ways they could keep existing Zelda content going!
