I'm not going to look up Amtrak routes, but coast to coast in the US is ~3000 miles. It would take 670 one-way trips to do 2 million miles.
Looking at Amtrak vacation packages, which aren't straight shots, coast to coast takes about 14 days. To do that 667 times, we're looking at about 25 years on a train.
If we generously assume that we're talking about going from NYC to DC by high speed rail, that's 2.77 years on Amtrak trains. Even at its maximum speed that would be 1.52 years.
Come to think of it, maybe Biden just wants to subject others to the torture of years on Amtrak trains.
They all do. Love Amtrak. Government sponsored corporation. Prolly has a union. Practically only serves DC. Most Americans have never been on one. Shit, they even pretend it's green somehow.
Can someone do the math here and figure out how long it would take to do 2 million miles on Amtrak. I imagine it is an absurd number.

It takes 4 years to go 6 million miles on Amtrak.
