*or heck, call it groomed. Troon communities loooove to prey on the vulnerable misfits, same as any cult. I think it was here or on the reddit counterpart but a really great post had a really detailed writeup explaining all this because that OP had been through the same thing. Wish I'd saved it.
I'm going to set time aside to search for it in the next day or so. I just wish I remembered more specific info because the key words I remember are in no way unique, especially with what our subs pertain to.

Identity disorder is very real, but there's no way there's that many unless something else is going on, for sure.
I think the issue is this: Shirley McLean is gone and forgotten, so they don't have a new age leader that gives them non-Hindu/non-Buddhist reincarnation as a spiritual explanation for how they feel. So, the younger generation get scooped up by the sinister types who want them to be outed so that they can make clearer targets of themselves.
