Do you think Nintendo fans whom are grumbling right now will actually vote with their wallets this time thru or will they just do their usual habit of muttering under their breath but ponying up? This only makes Nintendo justified into finding more ways to exploit users for as little content as possible as far as I'm concerned. It seems Nintendo fans have little understanding of how economy works. I'm wondering if the majority are 14 year olds?

It's a money grab for N64 nostalgiacs who don't do emulation and Animal Crossing people. I think they will get a high take rate from those two groups. Just look at how many people bought up the retro consoles, there's a lot of people who don't want to screw with emulation.
They might have been on to something if they didn't make the offering suck so hard. Nine N64 games? Really? How about offer up about 50, then it looks like a good deal. The Genesis games throw-in is just sad. They didn't even try. I picked up a PS3 disc a couple years ago at a thrift store for $1 with something around 50 games on it. If you don't want to emulate then similar compilations can be had for about any console in the last 20 years for less than $10.
Cmon there isn't really 50 N64 games is there?
300-ish.
I actually have that but never realized how many actual games there are!
😲🛸
There's way more than 50 N64 games. You could argue how many anyone would still want to play and I'd say 1 or 2, but that's because I'm not a fan of the N64 at all.
Nintendo games being more expensive then those for every other contemporary system really does give one the true N64 experience. Though it's not exactly something I'm nostalgiac for.
I can play SNES on my computer all day long, but there's something to be said for a 50 dollar box that looks like a Nintendo that my girlfriend can understand.
