The degen porn seems to be a major source of the problem. Have these people ever considered that letting their hedonism control them might be the issue? At least heroin addicts know it isn't good for them.
I doubt it's coincidental that all this tranny shit blew up within a few years of the smartphone revolution. I grew up in a time where there was one (desktop) computer in the house, so there were necessarily limits on when/how porn could be consumed. People not much older than me were limited to second and third hand dirty magazines as teenagers. Now everyone has access to more porn than they could ever watch in their lifetime sitting in their pockets.
I wonder what role algorithms on porn sites play in this. No one's first porn video is AGP shit unless they're being groomed by a tranny, but it's well known that porn addicts need to consume progressively more fucked up shit to get that same dopamine rush that the vanilla stuff gave them in the beginning. If we knew more about the exact process that ends with people watching the AGP shit we could start coming up with healthier solutions than calling porn addicts stunning and brave for letting their fetish take over their life.
Very interesting and astute observation that's literally right on the money.
One thing a lot of these sites are doing now is weeding people into fetish categories. This part of why there's such a huge push for the whole OnlyFans/camgirl stuff.
Let's say it starts with cam girl who you first encountered on Twitter who used a hashtag you randomly clicked on, or maybe she popped up in an Instagram feed with some non-adult but somewhat provocative material. You decide to check out more of her stuff, which leads to a web portal that takes you to her cam page on a major porn site.
Let's say you check out some of her solo stuff, so then maybe the algorithm recommends you some other stuff, the girl doing stuff with toys or whatever. Let's say you check those out. Well, now they transition over into her with a friend; lesbian porn is popular with guys and girls, so let's say you check those videos out. It doesn't matter whether she's actually a lesbian, she's trying to make money, and you're trying to get your rocks off. However, there's a problem...
The algorithm now sees that you're watching this cam girl with other girls, so you've transitioned from solo, to toys, to lesbianism. Now some people might say, "So what? Lesbians are hot!", well, hang on there, cowboy. Lesbians are still classified under the LGBT banner. Once you've crossed that threshold the algorithm is now open to recommending you more alphabet soup content.
So let's say you keep consuming the cam girl stuff, and while she progressively produces slightly more hardcore material, she has a cutoff point on how far she's willing to go. But now that YOU'VE already crossed into other fetish territory, the algorithm might recommend you some more girl/girl webcam stuff, so maybe you check that out, but then maybe one or more of them decides to add in stuff with dudes, so you check that out. But now you've crossed another threshold.
She's with dudes, now the algorithm sees that and decides maybe you're into something a little more fringe. So they recommend you chicks who are with dudes and girls. Maybe you check that stuff out. Well, now the algorithm sees you don't mind girls, dudes, or LGBT content. Guess what comes next? That's right, maybe they start recommending you chicks with trannies, or some other kind of fetish stuff.
It's all transient. And it's how a lot of young people get roped into the really degenerate stuff, like how you mentioned they have to keep consuming more and more hardcore material.
It's not just like that with porn, either. The way it works is that data analysts are supposed to collect end-user information about interests based on queries, and then cross-breed and extrapolate that data with predictive results. This is how the tools work for job searches, home searches, movies, any and everything.
Just know that ANY information you put in ANYWHERE will be used against you to control what and how you consume.
It's all about data collection, manipulation, and control. Only, with porn it's a lot more nefarious because it's about rewiring people's orientations and sexual proclivities. I mentioned before about how hard it is to psychologically disorient a man's sexual attraction, well one way of doing that is through the inculcation and indoctrination process of porn.
Excellent comment. I mostly come to this site to point and laugh at retards, but every so often I'll read an insightful comment like this and it keeps me coming back. Lesbian -> alphabet soup -> tranny is the link I was missing there.
What do you make of porn sites that divide their content into straight/gay/tranny categories and don't make cross category recommendations? They count lesbian stuff as straight since it's made for straight men. It makes sense to me in terms of giving the algorithm a hard and fast rule and hiding shit most people find disgusting. But it also breaks the lesbian -> alphabet soup -> tranny link. I suppose that's why I didn't see the connection.
You'll cross it yourself, eventually.
