I actually meant that the woman should have recorded the conversation with this freakazoid. But yes, Pence was right, and they were very mad that they could not spring a Kavanaugh/Thomas on him.
I commented the same thing on halfKIA before the thread was deleted, but from the article, it says she was given pasties and a thong. It could be that either there is a misunderstanding of what "nudity" meant between the two parties or there is something that happened that the article didn't cover. Either way, the actress signed up for the role of stripper on True Detective.
I remember watching the very first episode and I thought it was slow paced and very boring. Then after months and months of people talking about how dark and "Lovecraftian" it was I decided to give it another chance. I ended up really liking it and I've since watched all of the seasons. Season 1 was really great, season 2 was good (but definitely the worst of the three seasons), and season 3 was pretty good though not as good as season 1. It's very slow paced and possibly even boring at times, but the atmosphere of the show was good. In light of recent events like the wealthy and their parties with Epstein (which definitely happened) and Pizza Gate (who fucking knows), the whole background plots were really prescient and creepy. I think you (or anyone else reading this comment) should definitely give it another chance. I don't remember it being woke. Though of course I have no stake if you do or don't and I definitely don't want any of you spending money on any media if you can avoid it especially with the way Joe Biden and his handlers are doing their goddamndest to destroy the economy. But I digress.
And if I may again be a contrarian bastard, I actually liked Casino Royale but thought Quantum of Solace was not only one of the worst Bond films I've seen, it's one of the worst movies I've ever seen. As for this new one? I'll watch it one of these days but I'm in no hurry.
If it was against her contract, why didn't she sue him 8 years ago for wrongful termination? Why didn't she get her lawyer involved the day he was trying to get her to do a nude scene? Why didn't she say if you want me nude, you'll have to renegotiate my contract? Why did she wait 8 years to bring this to light? If women want this crap to stop, then we need to stand up for ourselves and take legal action immediately, not sweep it under the rug and then 8 years later come out with accusations.
Because for the past 8 years her career has been going nowhere. Now that Fukunaga is in the news with the new Bond movie she probably felt she had to strike while the iron was hot.
When I was a kid I was playing on a playground and we had this little platform thing where you walked on it and had to balance yourself. One kid fell off and started crying and looked around and saw me standing there and suddenly pointed at me and accused me of pushing him. I think of that moment every time I see someone just suddenly pointing and making accusations for whatever reason. Now I'm not saying Fukunaga isn't a scumbag, but EIGHT fucking years?
It wasn't against her contract, her agent just gave her assurances that there would be no nudity. The article specifically mentions that new contracts under the actor's union are required to have prior notice of nudity, specifically negotiated and agreed upon. Her contact was before that time. If anything, I would blame the agent for failing to handle the client's concerns.
Never speak to a SJW without an active recording device.
I can remember when Mike Pence was mocked for how he was with women.

No Time To Die is the new Bond movie? If so, meh, no sympathy. Grill the weasel.

True Detective was one of the most boring and overrated series I ever attempted to watch. Hours and hours of molasses that goes nowhere.
This bond might be the slowest one yet, surpassing that boring shitshow with the casino and Texas hold ‘em scene. Jesus what a chore to watch

That’s because it’s a fucking lie, no doubt. Just her wanting in on the action.
