It was Cato the Younger that opposed Caesar, not Cato the Elder. Cato the Elder was all about salting Carthage, while Cato the Younger died like a little bitch facing the mega chad Caesar.

Exactly. Domitus of Massilia was one of the first to oppose Caesar. I suspect Cato the Censor would have supported Caesar, but that is just supposition.
