Btw there are Arthurian characters actually "of color", and this "color" does include black (and by which I don't mean all the "Black Knight" characters or many people named "the Black", I mean really half black knights, from how this or that knight shagged a black princess once when voyaging very far away and then the son travels to Britain, it's a story used at least twice and Morien even has his own book about him). They're just never used in modern adaptations.
That would make more sense than a lazy race swap, and I’m sure that happened in real life with all the crusades and stuff.
Look how extremely obnoxious https://archive.is/3HmAx/ is. No, there are no "modern adaptations with Morien", he's not "being whitewashed", because he's just not being used that all. No, Sir Bors (neither of them, the father and the son) wasn't "of color". And no, they had no "green skinned" guy at the table.
