I literally forgot there was a third season until a few months ago, it fell that much off the radar after the good first season, questionable second season, and then complete apathy for tv growing over the last decade.
Nah, first season was pretty good but the second went off the rails. Hearing the reviews of the third was enough for me to stay away. Honestly all of the setting highlights you mentioned are genre tropes, common to other punk and futuristic stories and probably done much better in those. Even Cyberpunk 2077 which I played recently had all of that. (except the world run by women and no private cars)
Their corporate oligarchy is even similar (Delos/Davos). I suppose as one of the propaganda arms, Hollywood is privy to at least some of what's planned.
