Already been done. Blacks say "nigger" all the fucking time. They call themselves niggers, and no, they don't do so affectionately all the time as we are led to believe, but with the same level of venom that they accuse racist whites of doing. Anyone who's ever heard blacks fighting or arguing with each other will know what I mean. They're not hurt whenever they hear the word, but they understand acting like they are gives them a lot of power, hence why the taboo for it is so strong.
