It's funny. This is almost the exact mirror image of feminists who have never experienced anything bad themselves, but instead read 'horror stories' about how women are mistreated and decided to regard themselves as victims.
At what age did you come to this great wisdom of yours?
It's a bit of a self-sealing hypothesis, innit? "Butterflies are out to kill me, I read horror-stories online, but they have never harmed me, as I know to steer clear of them."
Call me crazy, but isn't the a smarter way to live one's life?
