Did Chris go the way of the Vaush or did he just take too many shoes to the head. Or on the head. I wouldn’t know, since I stopped paying attention after one too many bad takes. Too many of the old “skeptics” seem to have gone in weird directions.
Chris was always pretty funny and entertaining to watch, but when you’re surrounded by socialists, you’re bound to get influenced in that direction.
He was on a Vaush stream and then suddenly he is more centrist.
He is not left per say but take his "Six Days In Fallujah" for instance he spends a lot of time pointing out that the censorship from the left it was the same as the religious right. It seemed he was more concerned about that then the left trying to censor it.
He also has a bad take on January 6 and restricted the video he had comparing leftists to nazis - forgot the actual song.
I watched the Vaush video and I could tell how he was losing his stance. Vaush may be a pedophile communist but he is persuasive.
It may be Vaush or his girlfriend or both but if the left cancels Vaush it would be a great win. I hate the guy but he is to good at what he does.

I think you’re talking about “Punch a Nazi.” I didn’t realize he restricted the video. It’s a damn shame, since that was song was classic.
Anyway, I think Vaush’s persuasiveness comes down to the fact that he’s unfortunately fairly intelligent but also entirely dishonest, and his own audience doesn’t seem concerned with holding him to truth and integrity standards at all. If they continue to turn on him though, wonderful.
The biggest problem is when he starts throwing around arguments that sound good on the surface against someone unfamiliar with his character. And those arguments are fired off in quick succession giving the person no time to check their consistency or merit.
If they knew Vaush has admitted that he has no interest in being a “principled socialist” and that his only principle is “winning as a socialist,” I doubt they’d take anything he says seriously. He’s willing to lie repeatedly to advance his positions, and other leftists don’t seem to care. His lies are coated in honeyed words and superficially intelligent sounding arguments.
In the end, his lack of integrity hollows out those arguments. But if you don’t know any better, they can certainly sound persuasive. It seems Chris likely fell victim to expecting arguments made in good faith, was bombarded with the opposite, and just went with it. More’s the shame.
Yup. It's very easy to persuade people to a position, when they haven't looked at the other side. Most of them too, once they've accepted the first position, won't even look at the other side fairly because they are too stupid, too proud, to admit that they were lied to.
You so "hate" to see Vaush getting his woke followers turn on him.
Truth be told, he is, sadly, very persuasive. It also happens that I hate him ever since he manager to turn Chris Ray Gun.
If he gets canceled by his own it would be worth celebrating in my book.
