You know what General Patton said...
Patton was calling out Churchill, Truman, Roosevelt, . . . for being closet commies. That's why they killed him.

In 1955 he supposedly supported the phrase "Keep England White" with regards to immigration from the West Indies. I think he did not understand what he was truly fighting for or against.
He fought against German domination of Europe, with little consideration of anything else.
He fought on behest of the City of London.
There was no other consideration.
He made no mistake. He couldn't let the Germans dominate Europe.
EU is dominated by the "Germans" today.
At least you can exit the EU like Britain did. Good luck leaving German's sphere of influence if the Nazis won
The Germans didn't want to dominate Europe.
They marched east into Russia knowing they'd lose entirely to protect Europe.
Bullshit.... Why would they start a war knowing they would lose?...
The Germans understood that it was a loss regardless. If they sat and did nothing they'd still lose, except they'd lose on their home land and the Soviets would be free to continue on into Western Europe.
When the Germans made the decision to march east they did so entirely to deal enough damage to the Soviet forces that they couldn't afford a counter assault.
They also had assumed that after losing to the Allies they'd be pressed into service against the Soviets.
Instead, the Allies opened the gates and gave half of Germany to the Soviets.
And oh look proxy wars galore for years because Churchill was a fucking idiot and thought Hitler was a bigger threat than Stalin.
Germany marched WITH Russia.
As did the Allies.
The Germans at least realized how much of a threat the Soviets were and turned their focus to sabotaging their army.
