Over the past year or two I've come to see this a bit differently.
I think it's rather the opposite.
Women tend more towards fact, while men tend more towards emotion.
This sounds backwards until you realize that what women consider "true" is predicated almost entirely by social hierarchies. You'll never sway a woman with emotion because that is where they naturally dwell. You can only sway them with an imposed truth, aka a form of domination.
For a man, it's the exact opposite. Even if all the forces of the world come together to say his truth is wrong, if he doesn't feel that it is he'll fight against that imposition.
This is also why modern men are so pathetic. They've been tricked into giving up their inner spirit in favor of external social authority.
Except, "i have to listen to the imposed truth" is done out of fear while "i have to stand up for what I believe in" is done because of confidence in facts.

So in essence, women are swayed by the strongest voice's opinion, and men tend to follow their own intuition? Collectivism vs. individualism.
