Stopped watching when I realized it just wasn't going to be the show I wanted. Kirkman actually made that clear after S1 and the unpopular CDC episode which I really enjoyed. He said TWD absolutely is not science-fiction and there would never be an explanation or cure for the plague. It was only ever going to be boring interpersonal drama and people getting killed. I watched one more season because of Glen and then was done. Look how they massacred my boy.
Wow. I stopped watching in 2018. To think the show used to have nearly Game of Thrones excitement.
I decided to finish the comic book series and end it there. Surprisingly the comic book ends with a good father.

I thought the comics were better but I would’ve been more interested in learning how it happened. I don’t think it’s quite a Chekhov’s Gun scenario
