Maybe I'm just old, but Mickey-D's needs to knock the shit off with trying to lure in the younger crowd with "signature meals", and just focus on making food that's passably edible.
They've been trying to go after the 'hip' crowd for decades now. I'm pretty sure it was in the late '90s or early '00s when they switched to that asinine "I'm lovin' it" campaign.
Oh yeah. I remember when the stupid "Ba-da-ba-ba-ba" jingle came around. It was weaksauce then, and it's still weaksauce. Just give me a burger and fries that tastes decent, at a reasonable price, and I'd be a hell of a lot happier than if it comes with some stupid gimmick attached. That's probably why I tend to go to the local mom-n-pop shop more than McDicks, but every now and then I just don't feel like making the drive across town, so I settle for convenience - and I'm quickly reminded of why I usually go to the mom-n-pop.

Did you know they stopped using beef tallow for their fries in the early 90s because vegans complained? Vegans.
