The sad thing about Dune, is that there is plenty of what they want to force, later in the series. The woman that the God Emperor Leto falls for, she's black, also his enforcement arm the Fish Speakers are all female. Then you get the political power structure at the end is dominated by the Bene Gesserit and Honored Matres, both female.
I was going to say, watch them make Duncan Idaho a black female once his ghola comes up, but they cast Jason Momoa, which leads to all sorts of kvetching about the casting.
